Homeschool,  Homeschool Conference

It’s just around the corner!

We have 8 days until the Conference!

A year and a half ago, I sat at a table with several other women listening to Samantha’s passion and dream of a local homeschool conference, never thinking that I would be sitting here today in the final stages of preparation for our second conference.  And yet, here we are.

To say it’s been a long journey is an understatement.  Lots of prayer, meetings, planning, work, and dedication go to these events, and on top of that, we all juggle multiple responsibilities, like all moms do.  As a group, we have dealt with job loss, death of a loved one, family issues, and other circumstances in the past few months, keeping our eyes on God and the missions (yes, there’s multiple) He has entrusted to us.

And like so many mothers before us, we carry on.

This is not a plea for pity, just an acknowledgement that we are moms who care for our families and deal with the same issues as you do.  Don’t be distracted by the perfection that social media portrays.  Our lives are messy, joyful, unique, and yet, the same as everyone else.

Conference is a time to learn, rest, and connect with other homeschool families.  It’s our prayer and hope that this day will be one that you will remember and will help you through the ups and downs of not just schooling, but of life.   There are lots of sessions that will help not only with teaching your children, but also dealing with the issues that we face with them.

If you haven’t registered, there’s still time!   (PSSST . . . . . use the code COOP23 for a $5 discount)

If you haven’t seen our speaker sessions, we have them right here:

We are looking forward to seeing everyone next week.

Blessings!
Tamara
